Fold boxes

Features:

Fold boxes are the most common (retail) packaging for frozen products. However, there is a shift to plastic bags, especially stand up bags. This packaging is popular due to the limited shelf space that is required for presentation, which can be both horizontal and vertical. The inside is provided with a PE coating whereby loose products can be packaged immediately. The product can also first be IWP packed before packing in Fold Boxes.

Advantages:

Horizontal and vertical presentation. Well known by consumers. Plenty of space for product information and shaping/design.

Disadvantages:

Not all products are suitable for this. Large volume.

Heat resistant fold boxes

Features:

Heat resistant Fold boxes are used for products that can be heated in the oven with packaging and all. Cardboard is heat resistant up to 200C. Packaging is used for meals, think of airplane meals. Baked products that only need to be heated up can be packaged in this packaging. To date, this product is not suitable for retail.

Advantages:

Ease of use due to the final baking in the packaging. Serving in the same packaging. Shaping/design is also visible after preparation.

Disadvantages:

Products need to be baked. Large volume.

Bulk box / Cardboard box

Features:

Cardboard boxes are the most common packaging within the industry. Cardboard boxes can be delivered in a variety of different sizes and formats. In addition to a label, full colour printing can also be chosen. In most cases, a plastic bag is used when loose products are packed in them.

Advantages:

Versatile applications. Common for B2B, wholesale and catering. Cardboard ensures good insulation.

Display box

Features:

Display boxes are usually used in combination with retail products. The advantage of these boxes is that the product does not need to be placed on the shop shelves.

Advantages:

Environmentally and cost conscious. Presents products better.

Disadvantages:

Only to be used for retail.

Snack box

Features:

Snack boxes are well known in the fast food industry. This kind of packaging can be supplied with the product so that the fast food chain or retailer can use it to serve / present it. The packaging adds value to the product and is therefore attractive.
